Hi,

today I wanted to do a 2nd part about my writing journey, better said my writing history. First part can be read in this post where I was writing about how I started to write.

As I mentioned in the first post, my first story that I was writing was inspired by the TV Show “The Tribe” and was also set in that world. I was so amazed by it that I had to write story about it. I used to write it for years until I have lost it due to computer breaking down but around the same time, I’ve gotten into Tokio Hotel. If you know, you know, ok!

That’s when I discovered the world of fanfictions and fanfictions are mostly what I was writing for years. I didn’t even know what are they called but I just enjoyed writing those imaginery stories that had to deal with idols that I loved so much. I believe that everyone knows what fanfiction is but if not, here is the definition by Google “fiction written by a fan of, and featuring characters from, a particular TV series, film, etc.”. I actually still write fanfictions and I enjoy it. It is sort of healing for me to just get away into my imagination and stay there for some time.

Along with fanfiction, I wrote few short stories that are non fiction but also started (and deleted) few stories. Sadly, I was big on deleting my stories if I didn’t like them but now I try to keep them all because you never know how will it all go and will you maybe be in the mood to write it sometime again.

I also faced few years where I couldn’t write anything, where writing was something I was running away from and it took some time to finally start writing again but that is a topic for another post.

Writing is also healing process for me a lot of the time so I recommend you to write if you want to get something off of your chest or make a story out of it. Make your own happy end if needed. Sometimes we need to get lost in our imagination and in our own little world that we have build up. Even if no one will ever read it, you will know that you’ve succeeded in something.

Love and light,
Ana
